In the working group Age & Technology, new technologies are developed for the generation of integrated and intelligent living environments to maintain health and self-determination. In the development process, the working group works together with software and hardware manufacturers as well as universities and other research institutions.

A main focus is the general usability research under consideration of the User Centered Design according to DIN EN ISO 9241-210, as well as the investigation of the effectiveness of the developed technologies. Currently, the working group is involved in various projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as the EU and is always interested in new projects in the field of aging & technology.
