Research projects of the working group Aging & Technology

New technologies aiming at integrated and intelligent living environments in order to preserve health and autonomy are being developed within the working group Ageing and Technology under the leadership of Dr. Marten Haesner. These technologies evolve from the cooperation of the working group with a variety of software and hardware producers as well as universities and other research institutions. One focus hereby is the general research of usability in consideration of user centered designs in line with DIN EN ISO 9241-210, as well as the examination of the technologies' effectivity. Currently, the working group is engaged in a number of projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF) and the EU and is always interested in new projects in the fields of ageing and technology.
